I have a small 1inch hippo in a 10g tank. It was was bought about 10days ago.
I really can't tell if he's eating. I have a small piece of seaweed rubberbanded to a rock.
He has gone from sleeping flat under a rock to sleeping flat in an open space in the tank but with a CURL to his body. He doesn't swim around much at all but sleeps all the time.
If I prod him he'll swim a little but go back to sleeping flat with a curl.
I'm thinking he's sleeping so much bc he's either malnutritious or ill. Water quality is brand new water with temp steady at 76 and salinity at 1.024
YOUR THOUGHTS on getting him to eat other than seaweed?
