How to handle a power outage restore

When the power goes out, Im not home, the DT water will drain back into the sump until it reaches the bottom of the overflow slits and the return jet. This is not the problem. There's enough room in the sump to accommodate this water. What puzzles me is, when the power is restored, and I'm not home, how do I keep the return pump from coming back on and draining the entire sump (30 gal) back into the DT, thus overflowing it?
