Is this normal?

Reffers, I have a GSP for 3 weeks now and tentacles or polyps are still short when I got it they were extended and long, currently under medium light and strong flow (moved from slow flow wasn't' doing good at all) in lots of images I have seen they are long and look like a carpet, any input please help
