So what I've read, I need my overflow to support 5 times my tank volume. Does this sound right?
I have a 75 gal tank that I will be drilling. My Sicce Syncra 3.0 has an output of 714 GPH. Physics tells me that my overflow rate needs to be higher than my pump rate. So something over 714 GPH. If I go too high, I assume there will be more noise. I like a little bit of running water, but niagra falls is just too much. What would you recommend? I have checked out glass-holes.com and like their kits, but I am not against piecing my own together. Thanks in advance.
