Online order acclimation

I'll be getting a few CUC members from Liveaquaria tomorrow and I'm lost on acclimation for them. Everywhere I look it says everything should be drip acclimated then Reefcleaners says to never drip an online order. I've also heard some here mention a deadly rise in ammonia in the bag water if an online order was drip acclimated. Can some of you with vast knowledge and/or experience with shipped livestock please lead me in the right direction so I don't wind up murdering my innocent critters? Thanks in advance
