My 150 Winter Project

Im planning my winter project of my 150 gallon tall build. I currently have a 55 mixed reef with a 30 gallon sump. Equipment includes an ASM g3 skimmer, uv sterilizer, and a 6 bulb t5 fixture with a built in timer and moon lights. Thats just the basics. I have another 55 that was given to me because the center brace is broken. Thats going to be my new sump for the 150. It will be plumbed into the next room (man cave/ fish room). That leaves me with my current 55 gallon. Im thinking of turning it into a refugium. That would bring my system to almost 250 gallons. Im thinking of using a steel shelving system rated for 1000lbs per shelf as an over under stand. I'd prefer my refugium to overflow into my display rather than pump as the pump would chew up pods meant to feed fish and such. My plan is to have a three stage sump with a filter sock area, baffles holding carbon bags, skimmer area with heaters and other equipment, a bubble trap, and the return section with ATO sensors. Pics will follow as I just purchaced my glass for baffles today.
