40 breeder stand question

I am building a 40 breeder stand that I plan on fitting a 20L sump underneath. My question is I will have to build my tank stand a little bit longer like 48 inches vs 36 inches because I need the space under the tank for ATO, sump, reactors, doser, 2 part calcium containers.





My question is if I build the frame for 48 inches and the tank is 36, if I have center braces across my stand on the top with plywood covering it....will I have enough support? I was thinking if I put a vertical 2x4 where the corner of the tank is on all sides (Front and back) it should be okay but im not 100% sure.



Any input would be great!
