Oddity Snail gone full monty!

And now we have something weird.... So my Narcissuss snails (3) in my 30g have been in there for well 5+ years now I think lol. Anyway honestly shocked they are still kicking due to age but funnily enough I noticed a month ago an empty shell. I figured oh one finally passed away. Well not quite, He's gone naked! The snail is still alive and kicking with no shell. He tools around all day long just like normal but has his soft tissue exposed. Now I am not up on snails but I didn't think many could do this and survive. I watch him for a month now thinking maybe it was just him preparing to die or something. Well so far hes active as can be, I gently touched his coiled soft tissue to make sure it really was not shell at all. Yep he didn't like that but its is literally a naked snail.



Soo guess its time I do some reading but regardless its quite interesting.
