Natural Sea Water with Protein Skimmer

Hello Everyone...I am using a natural sea water for my saltwater tank. Do I have to change my water even if I have protein skimmer? If yes, how often do I have to change it and do I still have to use a filter?

Sorry If this is a dump question, I am just so confused about what I read on the internet.
