Ok. So low down. Got a 35gal in living room under tv on Wall. Now I'm going to pick up a 75 gal tank tomorrow and ideally would like it in same spot and use the 35 for a Q tank.
But I'm not sure how to go ahead with it. I get that I'll have to empty some water to "shimmy" old tank out of the way then I can replace the water I guess.
I'll add the new and start the cycle but I guess I'm asking is what are the best methods for doing this?
I'd rather not have one tank sitting in the middle of my living room for a few weeks lol.
Seems like moving into a new tank (especially in same spot) can be quite a headache. Any suggestions?
