From my understanding online it be ok to get inverts from petco, I can clean off the shells, and dip them in tank water and clean them, after acclimating them. Is this the case or no? Just going to get some snails. I know people are big in supporting LFS but petco is a lot closer to me, everything else i get is usually off of craigslist coral and the two clown fish i got.
