Hi all,
I introduced 2 ocellaris (a black and white and standard, both juveniles). About three days ago to a fully cycled tank. They hid for the first few hours and are now exploring, are responsive to me, and began eating the first day.
So far, they've spent most of their time side by side. No aggression or fin nipping, just following each other around. Does this mean they are pairing and may ultimately end up being a mating pair?
Also, I ordered the Hanna level detectors at a deep discount to get ready for corals. Assuming my levels are in check, how soon before I can add a coral or two? I have a biocube 14 and am diligent with water changes (I've had an oscar tank in the past so know the importance of keeping up with them). Also, any suggestions as to what to add first coral wise? I was looking at some zoas possibly.
Thanks for the advice!
