So finally the pH seems to be dropping in my DIY live rock and im hoping soon I should be able to crack on with aquascaping my tank.
Just a quick question regarding building the stacks if I may.
I will be using milliput and maybe carbon rods to build my structures from the DIY live rock I made. (before seeding it with some living rock).
I will most likely using fine crushed coral or coarse coral sand for the substrate (I don't want something so fine the powerheads will blast it around everywhere).
Obviously I want a good stable structure that sifting creatures wont undermine and cause to collapse, so here's the question
Should I milliput the base rocks directly to the base of the glass tank or should I build the structures directly ontop of the substrate and not 'fasten' the base rocks down?
