Tiny brown bugs floating

So I'm a newbie, I mean brand new I only have sand and rock for now. Just set up my tank and after countless hours of stress, frustration, three filters, and two very patient ppl... I now have the flowing water I so desperately wanted to see.. Learning that the same will thicken my water and stop my water from pumping through was a stroke waiting to happen, now that I know what to expect when shifting sand, etc I have a few "bugs" in my water. They seem to float at the top, and they look like seeds at first glance but as I was wiping down the inside of my tank I noticed these things. At first when I seen them I thought it was just some debris from the rock or sand and didn't pay it no mind, but now they don't leave. I scooped em out with my sponge to and took a picture, and magnified it and that when I seen the "spine" or exoskeleton. Are these parasites? Or is it a mystery type of live stock coming out of my rock? Tanks a baby, only a week to ten days old. I'm not aching fish for two months... Any help is GREATLY appreciated.. Pic included
