Hello fellow reefers, I am new to this site but have been keeping saltwater tanks for many years, 10+. I have almost always had a 75 gal or smaller tank so I have never ran into this situation before. Here is my question, what is the best way to upgrade? Do I try to use all the water out of the 75 to avoid the new tank cycling? I was told by someone to NOT use the existing bottom, is that true? I am pretty much doubling my water volume and not sure the best way to go about this without killing or stressing my tank out. Thanks in advance!!
