Made a batch of saltwater on friday. Cleaned my 32 gallon can with vinegar and filled it up like normal. Put in heater and a 3100 rio to mix salt. Now this morning it has what looks like bacteria or something on the surface! It's also on the heater, cords and rio. Some on the sides of the container also. Did the water start to cycle in 3 days? The temp is hot, heater might be shot. It was at 87 this morning. Have the lid off and it's cooling but I am thinking the whole batch is shot. So before I dump it, anyone have any thoughts?
