I went to petco Thursday and was browsing the anemones and the main fish guy who's got a few reef tanks and a lot of other stuff in his home, he was talking to me about the anemone I was looking at and wondering what the heck was wrong because it was upside down in the tank not moving much so I was like hey dude is this guy doing okay? Why isn't he moving to fix himself upright?
Long story short the guy said he was alright and healthy but probably being lazy so naive spills believes him when he's trying to sell the thing.
I bring him home and get him ready for the tank and then drop him in slowly and turn off my circulation pump and watch him. He wasn't moving around much when acclimating and it stayed the same in the tank. He was all balled up from when he got bagged to when I found him decaying in the sand this morning. He only lasted 2 days? I have other stuff in there and tested my water last night all my parameters were in check.
Did I get a bum deal from petco?
