My buddy is moving next week, he would like for me to store his stuff for a week. not really too many frags or fish that would add a lot to the bioload.
2 snowflake clowns
1 bangghai cardinal
a coral banded shrimp
corals:
hammerhead
frogspawn
another frogspawn
(all have 3-5 heads)
a small leather coral
3 or 4 paly colonies
one large paly colony
now the fish being the most important with ammonia production is pretty much the only thing im worried about. right now I have a juvi pj cardinal (1.25in) and a small to medium melanurus fairy wrasse (maybe 2.5in or so) and a yellow watchman goby at about 1.5 to 2in
I would be pretty much doubling or tripling my bioload with this.
one of my plans is to set up my 30g put all his lr in there with the 2 clowns and put the cardinal in my tank and put his euyphillia in my frag tank
another plan is to put all his lr in the 30g, all the fish in my DT and his coral in my frag tank, use a siphon to feed the 30g from display to 30g then 30g to my sump. this shouldn't cause a cycle because im taking two systems making them into one, at least I don't think it would cause anything bad.
what are your guys's thought and holding his stuff for about a week and the best way to do it? (remember I have to be able to catch fish out of my DT without disturbing the aquascape. the clowns shouldn't be a problem since their a mated pair and we all know how clowns like to host the corner of the tank lmao) the cardinal will be a problem if its added to the DT, just catching him tho, from searching PJ cards and Bangghai cards airnt really known to be aggressive twords eachother
I have a 10g tank and a 55g tank that's lit now, my 30g can be lit if need be but I will not be able to use his 55g tank or stand.
