Sorry in advance if this isn't the right place for the thread. I tried searching before I posted, but I don't know all the lingo yet so easily could've missed something. Any help is soo appreciated!!
I'm just setting up my first tank. I got the really cheap base rock cause I'm poor, and half of them came with green mold on it. The shipper said it wouldn't hurt my tank, but I wanted a 2nd opinion before I put it in. He said if I want to be extra careful I can soak in vinegar, so I tried but it isn't doing anything. It's not like algae, more like moldy bread, same smell. My cycle is going really good and I don't want to screw it up.
Thoughts?
