I've been in the hobby for 10 years. I've killed livestock due to ignorance, I've overflowed because I forgot to turn off the RODI overnight. I topped off my first tank with saltwater for the first 2 YEARS before everything died due to salinity issues (weird, I know)... I have invested thousands. I have learned so much.
Now I have a beautiful 40B with the perfect aquascape (it happened partly by accident but i wouldn't change a single rock). I am growing (mildly) fond of water changes (weird, I know).
I have learned so much from this forum and just want to thank you all.
I go through stages of wanting to spend my whole weekend working on the tank, to ignoring it for a few weeks at a time (water changes, maintenance, but always feeding).
I love it. And I thank you all.
40B. Bean animal coast to coast. 2 black clowns. Coral Beauty. Yasha Goby w/ randalls shrimp. A super shy peppermint shrimp thats been around a few years whom I never see, "Spidy" the arrow crab, a bunch of snails, NO hermits, kenya tree and Xenia that are taking OVER, star polyps doing amazing. And one ******* DAMSEL that I can't catch. Any suggestions? Want him out. To the sump and then to the LFS for credit or free. He is no longer welcome.
