Alright so a week ago. Our nirates sat 20 ppm and we toke out the phosphate remover out of the cansitier filter. And put carbon back in. And we did a 5 gallon water change yesterday. And I checked our nirates today. Now there 40 or higher.. I know canister filters cause nirates problem but I know as long as you clean it food. Which i do. And our ammonia and nirite stayed at 0 so there wasn't a spike. At all. And I used ro/di water mixed with instant ocean. So I don't know why our nirates jumped up?
