So I've been battling an ammonia spike and after thinking there wasn't one, i guess there was because the test kit is now reading zero again across the board with all nitrogen phases.
Now I have new potential issue. My pH is a 7.8, which I believe to be a little low. I don't know my Cal, Alk, or Mag yet, they test kit is coming in tomorrow.
Everything in my tank is acting super strange than is has for the past 2 weeks. my clowns normally are racing around at the top of the tank. My male is now laying motionless on the sandbed periodically (I know this can be normal) and they both are swimming pretty slow today. I've never seen this behavior before. My hermits are nowhere to be found or have been in one spot since yesterday. And my corals are being strange. My trumpet is fine, fully extended, zoas are closed or partially opened. and my duncan (only a single head) has either been closed or half fully extended and the other half of his oral disc is shriveled.
Any advice or experience with this stuff?
