running skimmer at night

Hey guys, I have been running my skimmer part-time for almost a week now and want to know who all is doing this or has and is there any bad side to it? My lights are on from 2pm -10pm and I have the skimmer running from 10pm-2pm the next day. It's the aquaticlife mini skimmer in my 20long. Just want to do it cause it's quieter during the day and less micro bubbles. Thanks guys!
