I have had a 14 gallon biocube for some time. Decided that I just had to have the new IM Nuvo Fusion 40. Added a A150 sky-blue, Ghost Skimmer and a reactor. Went to the LFS and got 30lbs of live sand and 40lbs of fully cured coraline loaded purple rock. Filled it up with Catalina Ocean water and let her rip. Every day I would feed my imaginary fish in there. Its been up and running now for just over 2 weeks. About a week ago I got a ammonia spike of a whopping .25. Just checked to day and it's 0. PH is 8.2 and nitrates and Nitrites are both zero. Did this thing just do a mini cycle and I missed it?
