Shrimp tank set up for feeding.

I want to start a shrimp tank idk what's a good size tank to breed them in bc I want to feed them to my fish for food. I have never set up one before. Can anyone help my on what I need. I built a gallon tank with some scrap glass I had idk of that's ok lol . Any help would be much appreciated
