Red algae that glows!?

Alright, I may be going nuts but anyone that knows me...thats a given.:freak: Ive got red hair like algae that glows … under blue LEDs. Im talking the same color as my red mushrooms. With daylights on it deep maroon. Its covering larg-ish areas but many small spots all over. Only in well lit areas and only on the rocks. More so on the oldest rocks (petco aquaculture junk that I'm thinning out as new rock becomes live). None on glass or bare bottom. Ive has it for nearly 3 months but recently it started growing faster. When I look very close its hair like, kinda looks like ragged scotchbrite.



Under the researched assumption that it was cyano I pulled all my rocks while doing water change and hit all the red spots with boiling water via a syringe then scrubbed with a medium bristle tooth brush….. I really scrubbed, like cleaning mildew from grout then rinsed in old tank water. Nothing!
