Hello everyone,
I've always loved aquariums and I'd like to start a saltwater aquarium now, but I am concerned about the time commitment. I'm a grad student and things can get a little busy at times. Do you all think it's possible to start a small tank now? How much weekly time do you put into starting one? Then weekly maintenance time? What do you do when you go on vacation?
After moving to NE from FL last year for school I just knew winter was going to be rough for me. I was right. It was crazy. I missed swimming and snorkeling in warm waters. On a recent trip to PR I snorkeled among the beautiful reefs and fish for hours and realized that truly made me happy. (Don't know what you've got 'til it's gone huh?)
Unfortunately, I'm stuck in the NE ("deep northeast") for at least 3 more years. I was thinking that maybe having a saltwater tank would help me endure it a little more because I doubt I'll take up a winter sport haha.
Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you!
