Impulsive Buying

Hey guys, so on my hunt for some nassauris snails since LA doesn't ship to australia, i visited a lfs i don't often go to (due to distance) walk in, look at the coral tank that houses the snails too & BAM a juvenile harlequin tusk :bigeek: it was probably only like 4-5 cms long but gosh it was so awesomely cute, i really wanted it but i know my tank is way too small to house it in the long run and it was $100 but gosh it took my like 20 minutes to accept that i can't buy it.



Moving on, that lfs didn't have any so i went to a dive shop that catch their own coral & fish as well as inverts, walk in, look around, no snails till the end of the week so i looked at the corals and bam, this scolly hits me, a ring of saturn scolly. It looked beautiful, apparently one of the rarest scollys with a price tag of $400 with prices in the UK being as high as $1200. It was the first one he had ever caught, it looked a little like this shape of scolly but the colours were more red/orange & magical lol http://ift.tt/1nM00yQ i ended up buying a much less expensive $50 scolly instead but dayum how often do you guys run into something you want or is amazing yet you know you cant have?



EDIT: i forgot to mention, the lfs had two juvenile fuzzy dwarf lionfish that were just so cute, i was so tempted to buy one and put him in my other tank which isnt being used but i could image getting them on frozen food would take some time :L
