Red Copepods?

So I went to clean the front glass on my tank today and noticed a bunch of red dots on one end of my tank. Upon further inspection they appear to be copepods. I haven't added any to my tank and haven't added anything they can hitch a ride on to lately so I'm not sure where they came from.



I've never seen red copepods before. I've seen Tiger pods but they appear to be more orange. These are more of a red or maroon color. Anyone know what type they could be. They are too small so I can't post a pic of them but any suggestions that I could google might help.
