Brass fittings in a reef tank water change system.

Hey everyone, first post. I'm getting a new reef tank plumbed and me and my dad want to use some brass fittings. The system they will be used on is a semi-automatic water change system where we have water going from an ro/di unit to a glass aquarium, we mix the saltwater in i then pump it up into the tank via a bulkhead on the back of the tank that's always connected to it, and the brass fittings are used on the line in a couple places.



My question is since the brass fittings aren't on the system all the time, would it still be ok to use?



Hoping it can because it's been quite an ordeal to find the right parts for this project.
