Been a while since I started the Morning Thread but I'm just glad to be here. :)
Slim pickins for breakfast; bran flakes with raisins and banana. I'm sure Cath and others will round out the table fare.
Another busy day for me with work in another county and 80 mile round trip commute.
Heavy rain last night but clearing and mild weather today and tomorrow.
Perry, hope you get the air ticket me$$ straightened out. Too bad about the canceled trip. Hope they get those fires put out.
The Belmont University Bell Tower. The tower was built around 1850, originally as a water tank for the Belmont Mansion owners. It was used as a lookout and signal tower by Union troops during the Civil War Battle of Nashville in 1864. A carillion of bells was added by the college in later years. The tower is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a focal point for many activities on campus.
Graduation Day, May 3rd.
