Reef System Suggestions!

Good afternoon TRT! It's great to be back...I've been lurking for a while but I haven't been active since I don't have my tank anymore. I'm ready to get back into it. I'm permanently settled in my home here in south FL, so I can finally get a tank without worrying about moving.

The home I purchased is built on a concrete slab so I don't think I have to worry about my floors strength. I just had the entire floors downstairs redone in a wood plank porcelain...it's going to be great for a tank (potential water spills etc).

I need your suggestions. I'm thinking about getting either of the following.

1. CAD Lights Artisian II Aquarium (100 gallon system) with a protein skimmer

The specs are 47.5" x 23.5" x 20". ½” thick Ultra clear Low-iron glass with a 32 gallon sump. It's a wider and more shallow tank which I like...thoughts?

2. Red Sea Reefer XL 425 Rimless System 112 gallons

Specs on this are 47"x22"x22.6 so it's slightly taller and it's 1.5" less wide than the CAD Lights.

I'm looking into getting an all inclusive system with a minimal footprint. The space I have to put it isn't too long...I would love a 6' tank but I have to stick to something around 4'....do you think I can have a tang live happily in a 4' tank that's almost 2' wide?

Please give me your thoughts and recommendations.

Thank you, and I miss you guys!
