Ok so I am hitting my 6th month mark with the tank and have a few question about a couple possible algae spots I may have.
1st is the brown dust like algae on the glass that I have to clean off almost everyday. Looks like diatoms but I shouldn't have any more silicates in my tank.
2nd the overflow cover is covered in coralline algae which is great, recently I notices a brownish algae film coating over the coralline. It can be hard to scrub off.
Last, on the rocks, mostly underneath and in dark spots I am getting this white/grey algae hair. Its not dense like Green hair is. Scrubs off pretty easy, any ideas?
So I am running RO/RI water but look yesterday and my TDS meter is showing 1 TDS. So I have ordered new filters. I use the Chinese black boxes but all so added a T5 light to help with the SPS. Both lights are angled at the middle of the tank.
Tank is a 75 gallon tank. Running duel reactors with carbon and GFO. Water is Am 0 N2 0 N3 10 Calc 440 ALk 8.4.
Water flow is a gyre 150 and a MP10 on the backside of the tank.
