I bought a Zoa frag about 5 days ago, it opened up an hour or two after placing it in my tank and is looking really healthy. Today, I did my weekly water change, same as every other week, nothing eventful. 20% RO/DI with Reef Crystals SG is 1.023. After the water change I went to the store and when I returned about 2 hours later there was a zoa polyp floating around in the tank some how it broke off from the rest of the frag. Is this normal or should is this the start of something? Any idea of what could have caused this? I bumped the frag while I was cleaning my sand bed but it wasn't hard and it didn't break off at the time could the shock of the bump caused the polyp to break off?
