Hey everybody,
I have a 75 gallon display that I'm looking to add 2 ocellaris clowns to in the future. I am on my last week of hyposalinity treatment for ick that my kole tang brought in, and would like to quarantine the clowns and gradually bring the quarantine tank to hyposalinity for the treatment period as well just to be a little bit more careful prior to introducing them to the 75 gallon tank.
I have a number of tank options to choose from for a QT, and was looking for input.
I have a 29 gallon tank that I could use that is currently in storage, but I'm seriously considering getting a 10 gallon aqueon tank to do the quarantine in since I think it will be a lot easier to keep clean, and will need less salt for water changes, less electricity, etc.
So, I'm wondering if you guys think a 10 gallon glass tank would cut it for quarantine for 2 ocellaris clowns; the ones I have my eyes on are quite small at this point, maybe an inch long. Super cute.
I could use the 29 gallon, but I would much prefer to use the 10 gallon option. I just wanted to bounce the idea off some peers first to see what you guys think about that tank size for this application.
Let me know what you guys think, and have a good one!
