Hello again TRT!

Its been quite a while since ive been on here. I started my first SW tank about 16 months ago, its a 75g with a 30g sump and was started as FOWLR. I dabbled in the Macro DT for a while, but slowly that failed. Instead of trying to adjust my system to sustain them, i just sat back and enjoyed my fish for the past 10 months or so. Never had any issues with the tank(that i could see) during that time. All fish were great and no issues with any algae of any kind. I slowly let the maintenance go and ended up going about 5 months without a WC or testing water parameters other than salinity. Finally about a month ago, i decided that i wanted to get into soft corals and knew that i needed to get a grip on my tank once again. I tested the parameters and Nitrates were off the chart, like 160+(test kit only goes to 160) All other parameters were actually good and that was surprising to me, but i wasnt going to complain. So i did a little research, formulated a plan and have come a long way in that month. I started by doing 20-25g WC's every other day for 4 changes total and also started dosing Red Sea NO3 PO4 x. After the first 4 changes, my Nitrates we down to 20 and i was happy with that. ideally i want to get them lower, but thought that was fine to start with softies. So i added a couple, and then a couple more, and a couple more the next week. Its seriously addicting and i now find myself looking at the coral mostly and fish secondary. I tested for nitrates about 10 days after the first 4 WC's and they were up to 25. So i did another 25g WC and now the nitrates are at 16. Yesterday, i added a small frogspawn and that is my only LPS. I have 3 different Zoa's(dont know the names), long polyp leather, green sinularia leather, Green hairy mushrooms, and Palm clove polyps. I will try and get a few pics up soon and update my profile pic. You can see that was when i started the Macro idea.
