I'm currently three weeks into the first setting up cycle of the tank and have already added a raw shrimp, which has disappeared due to a small crab eating it, the crab somehow came with the live rock. There is a small starfish, yellowy green as well.
My questions:
1. Should I be siphoning the sand to clean it during the cycle or leave it dirty?
2. Should i clean the glass during this cycle as it has got a fair bit of green algae growing on it?
3. I have a small spidery character which has a body of about 4mm in length (pink), and has about 28 legs / tenticles in white. Should I get rid of this or leave it grow?
