I've been running my 40B w/ a home made CREE LED fixture for the last 3 years. Cost $300 to build 3 years ago.
I really, really want to upgrade to something I don't have to build by hand, and won't break the bank, that includes a programmable sunrise/sunset.
My new tank is a 75 gallon acrylic. Very SHORT at only 16" deep.
Thus why I'm contemplating the current orbit's.... Cheap, programmable... YES, cheap. But there isn't much penetration needed at 16" deep, but I've been running full spectrum CREE's and don't want to loose everything.
My fixture is only 24" long which worked fine on the 36" long breeder... New tank is 60 long.
So it's the orbits or (2) of the ever-grows....
Is there a reputable place to purchase the evergrows from (cheap ones from china off eBay all the time)? Are they programmable?
