Hi again,
Im a bit worried at the moment. One colony of acropora I have had for a few weeks now, doing great. But over the last two days its flesh has begun to strip from the base. Another colony, which I only purchased last Thursday, has little colour on the bottom, and has faded in colour, as it is no longer the bright blue tipped acro I bought.
The only thing I can think I have done wrong is change the phosphate media. I removed the old phosex that had been in there for a couple of months, and added the whole of the leftover packet. Would this be too much?
My main concern is how to stop it? I love this acro, and it is still polyping and looking great where it isn't stripping. And as for the other blue/green acro, what could be wrong there?
Thanks all. (pics below)
