I'm running a 27 gallon cube and have had a sump on the side...on the carpet because, well...its a cube.
I've upgraded to a 29 gallon aquarium (due to dimensions and wanting to start over with dry rock rather than my unstackable fiji rock) and bought a stand that should have worked great! I was really excited to do a 20 gallon sump rather than my eshopps rsk-75. Well, it turns out that the width of the aquarium is just under 11 inches, which basically screws me out of any sump BESIDES the one I'm already using.
I've seen a lot of sites online list some mythical 15 gallon aquarium sized 24" x 10" x 18". Do these exist? I can't find them anywhere.
