rock and sand. Now what

I just bought 60lbs of this Caribbean agronite and was wondering since my tank wont be ready for another couple weeks how do i keep it alive? would putting it in a Rubbermaid bin with a power-head and a heater suffice for now or since i have this purged fiji dry rock should i go ahead and put it all in the tank and get the cycling going? basically what I am asking is ive got all this dry rock and sand should i just go ahead and get the tank going? on a side note this isnt all the rock i want i still want more just waiting till income tax to buy the rest.
