I've only ever had FOWLR tanks, but we want to venture into corals and anemones. Currently we are nearly finished cycling a 55 gallon. I've read that it is best to introduce corals and anemones between 8 months to a year after the tank was cycled. This is perfectly fine with me, and I'd like to learn more about this process because I like to plan way in advance.
When is it acceptable to add corals/anemones?
I imagine like fish it is best to add one at a time. How long should be waited before adding the next?
What is the best one the start with? Hardy and forgiving?
What things do I need to know about before I add these? Please be specific and detailed. I want to make a list to reference and keep with me as I go along. :) Thanks!
