Success!

Well my coral beauty came down with popeye about three weeks ago the day after I aquascaped. I chalked it up to damage from aquascaping so I let him be. About two weeks ago his other eye got infected and last week it was bad to the point where he couldn't see to eat :( he was missing the food as he went to grab it. Eventually he stopped eating so I had to do something. I setup my 30g that I make my water changes with, threw a few pieces of LR in there and made a cave, spare heater, powerhead and I've been treating with pimafix and melafix for the past 4 days. Today I checked him out and his eyes look 90% better! No more haze to them and he can actually see the food now and has been eating! I just put him back in the DT a bit ago and he is glad to be home and I'm glad to have him home because there are no other algae pickets in the tank lol. It's amazing what grows when there are no natural predators..



This is my first time using a HT and it went well. Ahh there he goes picking at a rock..



I'm glad this was a success, now if I can just figure out why my Kenya tree stopped opening up that would be great.
