Hey all,
I am almost done filling my 90gal. I have the sand and most of the LR from my 55gal in there. Water level is just below the top of the overflow box. I am going to be using a 10gal for my fuge (i know, i know... very small but all i had that was free). How do i determine how much room to leave empty in the fuge just in case of loss of power?
This will be a baffle-less refugium, i will not have sand in it (until i can get a 20gal to replace it). Can i just use egg crate to keep my chaeto from getting to the pump? or just surround the pump with LR (and will using LR allow for copepod housing that close to the pump)?
one last sump question:
Using CFL as lighting source (cause i have a clamp light from an old turtle tank), should i use a 60 watt equivalent or 40 watt?
thanks all!
