This is what it looks like under my tank. On the left is my sump and skimmer.
The green arrows are water coming in, and going out. Those are in use.
The red arrows are the old connections for my canister filter. I took it out so I could fit my ATO under the tank. These connections make it infuriating to work in there, and I'd like to remove them. My issue is, I am awful with plumbing.
Both of these have valves at the end, and at the bulkhead. All the valves are closed. Can I remove them and just leave the bulkheads with the valves closed? Can I do that without draining the tank? Any other alternatives?
My second question is this: I have a UV sterilizer that I have never used. It came with the setup. From what I can tell, 1" tubing goes in, and 1.5" comes out. What are my options for removing the UV?
TIA
