Cycling my 20 gallon..

Hello! I started cycling my 20 gallon tank that contains 20 pounds live rock and 16 pounds live sand. I have also been adding some bio spira here and there. (if that matters) I also put a dead shrimp in there for a little but not more than 10 hours I think



I just took a reading of my parameters with the API saltwater test kit and got these readings:



pH: 8.2

Ammonia: 0

Nitrites: 0

Nitrates: 20 to 30ish I would say…



So where am I at in the cycle and whats should I be looking for?
