decorating my new tank Can I use the plastic decorations from my fresh water tank

So I have an old fresh water tank and want to use some of the Plastic decoration in my salt simply because I'm adding things slowly and my tank is just empty I plan on doing a reef tank but now it's just live rock Adding about 2 maybe 4 pounds of cured live rock
