30 Gallon Tall Drilled Tank What To Do With It PLEASE HELP I'VE GONE FISHY LOL NEED H

So I've become a regular at my local LFS and he sold me a 30 gallon drilled tank all black out side really sweet. IDK WHAT TO DO WITH IT. It's a 30 gallon Tall with one drilled hole. I have a 55 Gallon tank is there any way I could connect the 2 I would like to use both as display tanks HELP PLEASE
