29g supply questions

Good morning everyone. So some of you might know but im going to be starting my first reef tank. It is going to be a 29g (30"x12"x18"). This project is going to take me until probably dec. As im buying pieces here and there. The point of this thread is for people to not necessarily tell me what to get but teach or guide me towards the proper supplies. So lets get on with it.

Tank-29g

Salt-reef crystals

30 pounds dry 5 pounds live

15 pounds live sand

Skimmer-reef octo 4" needle wheel

2 hydor 425gph powerheads

Lights-starting with chinese leds until i save for ai hydras

Return pump-?

I dont know if i missed anything, so please comment if i did. Also, as you see with the return pump and rodi, i dont really know what are good brands to go with so please...any and everyone who keeps corals chyme in and help..thanks!
