Tanks specs:
90 gallon tank
30 gallon sump
swc cone skimmer 120
mag 12 return pump
phosban reactor 550
I was reading on the swc website that this skimmer is rated for a 55 gallon tank with a "heavy" bio-load (Obviously not told this when purchased at good ol Big Al's). My question is how do you judge your tanks bioload? Right now I have 2 azure damsels, 2 clowns, 2 zoa polyps, 1 frogspawn, 1 torch coral, 1 diamond goby, 1 star polyp and 5 hermit crabs.. I was thinking about upgrading to a Vertex Omega 150, is this skimmer a better quality than swc skimmers? and is it sufficient for a 90g tank with a "heavy" bioload?
